SHOOTERS? OR SCORERS? THE DEBATE GOES ON!

When it comes to shooters, there are a few who will be attending the top 100 showcase, that stand out, in fact they stand way, way, way, way back from the line and they can let it goooo!  These shooters are Amanda Turner (Wooster), Jordan Peck (Shaker Hts) and Kerri Holdash (Trinity).

Amanda Turner (Wooster) is quiet, but her game is loud.  She is a consistent shooter that when she get's it going can simply fill it.  There are times that it seems like she has the ball on a rope, boom from her hand through the net.
Jordan Peck (Shaker Hts) is another quiet kid off the court, but this freshman can flat out stoke it from way down deep.  Her range is off the charts, and she has started to develop her floor game.  She is a star in the making.
THE SCORERS!

Basketball is all about putting the ball in the whole.  Which ever teams does it the most wins.  The following girls are definately the scorers, they simply find a way to get the ball into the basket.  Katie Collins (Chardon) and Abril Mills (Brookside) are  scorers among scorers.

Katie Collins (Chardon) is absolutely relentless, she can get to the cup, hit the mid range jumper, go down on the block, or step back to the free throw line.  Whatever it takes, Katie gets it done.t uatie led Chrdon in scoring last year, and this year should be even better, look for her to put up some big numbers!
Kerri Holdash (Trinity) it seems like a requirement of being a solid three point shooter is that you have to be quiet off the court, but a loud killer on the court.  Kerri is  another quiet kid off the court, but whose shooting speaks loudly on the court. Kerri, is a solid guard, who can step back and drain the needed three.  She is also a strong point guard.
Abril Mills (Brookside) a smooth slick guard who led Lorain County in scoring last year.  Bre is long and agile, and simply glides down the court.  She is as effective from long range as she is at getting to the basket.  Mills is one of those players that thrives in the open court, and can score off the bounce and in traffic.  Look for her to repeat as the Lorain County scoring leader, and to be a viable candidate for Ms. Basketball in Lorain County
