CHYREES LOCKHART: QUEEN OF THE COURT"
In Northeast Ohio you will have some outstanding poing guards this year. Aziza May (Brush), Taylor Kline (VASJ), Taylor Mingo (Regina), Lenay Simms (East Cleveland Shaw), Rachel Theriot (Walsh), but few can do it better than Chyress Lockhart (Cleveland Central Catholic).  Chyress is simply dominant on the court. She imposes her will on the other team, and when she gets it going, few if anyone can truly stop her.

Chyress is a dynamo, an energizer bunny, she keeps going and going and going, until eventually she simply wears the opponent down.  She gets it done on offense, defense and at times even carries the water for her team.  Her summer coach Matt Mucha summed it up best, "I won't go to war without Chyress cause she come locked and loaded everytime."

Chyress is currently our #1 ranked player in the class of 2011, she is compact, agile, heady and all business on the court.  Every now and then you will see her flash a soft smile, but in a blink of an eye she is off down court with a steal, on headed to the hoop blowing by a defender.  Never was it more on display than at the Adidas Southern Premier last April in Atlanta Georgia when Lockhart was named the tournament MVP after she scored 28 points including 12 straight down the stretch before hitting a fade away from the right side in double overtime to seal the victory.

Event $10.00, hot dogs $5.00, soda $2.00, Chyress Lockhart PRICELESS!

IMANI GORDON: Silky Smooth
Northeast Ohio has had its share of bonfafide all stars, and it looks like the tradition is still intact with Imani Gordon.  Long lean and sleek, this Akron baller is coming into her own.  If you have any doubt, just ask the coaches from schools like Iowa, Eastern Michigan, Cleveland State and Cincinnati they can all tell you about this star in the making.  Having already taken an unofficiall visit to Ohio State last fall, she is primed and ready to sprint to the head of the class and lay claim to one of Northeast Ohio's best prime time ballers.

When you watch Imani play, you see a hard working no nonesense kid her high school coach Reginald Floyd stated.   Imani can do pretty much anything she wants on the court.  She boards up like a demon, she can lead the break, she has long arms and can really step it up on the defensive end, and best of all is "I just love that pro-hop she has" stated Dwayne Morrow.  Most high school girls don't know how to master that kind of move but for Imani it come natural and easy.  No doubt, on the court she is a coaches dream!

Imani has been getting down to business trying to become a model off the court as well.  Having put in time boosting her already solid GPA, she has also hired a personal trainor, the premier athlete is working on not just being good, but trying to be the best, which has led to a much improved outside game.  If she keeps getting better, who knows where she will end up.  We are all watching,
GO Imani GO! Ps- When you get there can we get Tichets!
